For a little over 6 years I’ve had my tv connected to a pc running MythTV. It’s really cool, and I could never go back to watching regular live tv.
Nokia FAIL
I’ll start this post by pointing out that I am a Nokia fanboy. I love Nokia devices. I’ve only ever owned Nokia phones, and it is no secret how much I love my Nokia internet tablets. But boy are Nokia frustrating.

New tools!
At the weekend I took a trip to John Davis Woodturning This was my first time in a real wood turning shop/workshop rather than just browsing items on line. It was very cool, nice to be able to actually see the various tools and get a proper feel for them.
Work around computers? Or have them work around you?

Participating in OSS
Fairly recently I went through the process of being allowed to participate in an open source project ‘Navit’Working for a big company I have to just make sure there are no potential contamination issues. Very boring, but done now.
My disturbing Nokia obsession
I find that the extent to which I’m becoming a Nokia fan-boy getting worse as the years progress. In the beginning I just found they made the best quality mobile phones hands down.
