When I first came up with the idea of a clapper board, I figured I already have some hard board, and other bits of wood, plus some blackboard paint. I figured I just needed to nip to my nearest B&Q and grab a hinge.

Tidying up my workspace
Having spent some time in someone else’s workshop I picked up some things about their setup which I liked, and decided to invest some time in making some improvements in my workshop.
My kind of holiday
Last week Kat and I went on holiday to visit her father’s house in France. I took with me some tools and overalls so that I could spend some time whilst there doing some wood turning.

Why open platforms are great
About a year ago I bought a Nokia 770. It didn’t get great reviews when it first came out. But then it was expensive when it came out first. Last year they were selling cheap….*really* cheap, as the latest model had just come out.
This is ‘turning’ into a bad habit
Recently my resolve to save money and be good has somewhat fallen apart. I’ve been blowing payrise money on new tools, and generally talking myself into things that I should probably not be spending money on.
