  • Project: Tilting lap desk

    For the last couple of years my wife and I have introduced a tradition of making our gifts for each other. This year that gift was what I am calling a ‘lap desk’ but I guess it just a freestanding mini desk that has a tilting top.

    A little while ago I got in to card flourishes, these are where you do fancy cuts and shuffles of cards mainly just to show off, and frequently to make it look like an impressive shuffle whilst in fact keeping the same cards on top, or even the whole sequence unchanged.

  • Giza 66 clone – 8 shot rubber band gun

    I really enjoyed making my clone of the ogg craft modotchao rubber band gun, and decided to take a crack at another which caught my eye.This one is the giza 66, and it is a much simpler gun than the modotchao. It has a single moving part, but there is some complexity to the gun.
