Cnc router project. Part 1
For some time I’ve toyed with the idea of building my own cnc router, or perhaps a 3d printer. The idea, of having a tool which allows me to fabricate parts using a computer to control the process, is pretty compelling.
Stripping paint from chairs – chair 2
With the first chair I tried a couple of approaches to stripping off the black paint. First I tried a hot air gun. Which was not terribly effective. So I moved on to paint stripper and wire wool.

Closing the door on a long standing todo.
Some time ago I started a project…, OK quite a long time ago…, alright – I’m slightly embarrassed to admit it was over 2 years ago. My bedroom is pretty big so I decided it could stand to lose a couple of feet to have a decent size built-in wardrobe.
Decking finished!
Decking project is now complete (well ish). Three days of labouring in the sunshine, which was very hot work but actually really nice in many ways. It’s great to be out of the office, doing something constructive.
